Welcome to the LACC website

The LACC was estrablished on March of 2005 thanks to the support of the students at BCC, Student Programs, and Multi-Cultural Services. We are a group of students that want to share our Latino Culture with the rest of the BCC community. As the Latin Ameircan Culture Club, we welcome and support any student interested in the Latino Culture. We strive to create awareness and encourage value of all Latin American Cultural groups on campus and in the community. We are here to network, socialize, make new friends, and be a positive voice on campus.

Our mission:

To share the Latin Culture while welcoming different Global values with the students and Community that surrounds us.

We aim to be a vibrant support of the BCC community through our open, fun, and caring environment.

Our vision:

To introduce the best of the Latin Culture in an inviting and friendly way. To support our members in realizing their golas at BCC.

Statement of Support:

The Latin American Culture Club at BCC (LACC), is in full support of the Latino and non Latino immigrant community as they organize, participate, advocate, and petition the United States Congress to pass immigration reform that is inclusive, non discriminatory, and with justice for all.

We believe that immigrants have been and are an integral part of this country’s history, social, economic and political development and therefore should receive fair and respectful treatment under the Laws of the United States. The LACC and all of those in support of the immigrant community will continue to encourage individuals to peacefully participate in this country’s great history of civic involvement.
